Helical Planer Head

Helical (spiral) head designed for the 20″ variable speed planer. These heads are fantastic and provide excellent cuts, resulting in a smoother board and significantly reducing sanding time. When the blades dull, turn them 1/4 turn for a fresh set.

Each head contains 100 knives that can be rotated 4 times, giving you 4 sets in one! This design yields a cleaner cut across the board. Thanks to the staggered tooth design, you only need to swap out 1 or 2 low-cost inserts if you accidentally run a nail through your planer.
