Olson Skip Tooth

These skip tooth blades are designed for manual or machine sawing of wood, plastic, and fibrous materials, offering rapid cuts, excellent chip clearance, and a smooth finish. They can also be more effective than standard metal-cutting or jeweler’s scroll saw blades when working with metals.

While any skip tooth blade up to a #5 can handle metal, sizes #3/0 through #2 are ideal for intricate marquetry and internal cuts. These blades easily cut through up to 1/8-inch thick soft metals—including copper, brass, aluminum, bronze, and cold-rolled steel—whether cutting a single piece or a stacked set of sheets.
