This goes at the bottom of the tension rod. It assists in tensioning the blade based on position.

Threads are molded into the nylon insert to securely lock the bolt in place. Nylon insert lock nuts feature a cased metal exterior with a hexagonal shape, allowing for easy tightening with a wrench or socket. Heavy-pattern nuts have an oversized casing for added strength.

Zinc plating helps slow corrosion in normal atmospheric conditions.
